A natural sleep aid for a good night sleep

Melatonin as a natural sleep aid is a natural hormone produced by our brain's pineal gland located somewhere in the base of our brain. The main role of melatonin is to make sure that there is a proper regulation of the circadian rhythm of our body. This is also considered as the internal clock in our body that affects our sleeping and waking routines.

The production melatonin is persuaded by darkness and is withdrawn by light which is the reason why it is also called as the hormone of darkness. This hormone increases in production as soon as a person's environment becomes dark and sleep becomes induced upon the person.

Melatonin also boosts up the body's maximum immune system and is found out to be a powerful antioxidant that can protect the cells from being damaged.
