Keeping away from Hot Flash
Hot spicy food, alcohol and caffeinated foods and drinks are things that may trigger hot flash. Alcohol especially the red wine can release epinephrine, which trigger hot flash. Hot bath may also trigger hot flash as the skin blood vessels may dilate naturally. Keeping away from hot environment and keep your thermostat on the lowest bearable temperature for you. While hormonal changes may be a natural physical occurrence for menopausal women, it is the emotional pressure that brings on many disorders including hot flashes. Suppressed anger, depression, panic disorders and anxiety are all good triggers. Identifying and avoiding triggers is a good way to go in managing hot flashes.
