The procedure of Gum surgery

In addition to gum surgery,the periodontist may recommend a bone graft or tissue.A tissue or bone graft is a way to replace bone or gum tissue destroyed by periodontal disease or promotes their new growth.One technique that can be used with grafts of bone regeneration is called guided,in which a small  piece of cloth similar to a mesh is inserted between the bone and gum tissue. This prevents the gum tissue to grow in the place where it should be the bone, allowing the bone and connective tissue to grow back.
Because each case is different, it is not possible to predict with certainty what will grafts long-term results.The results of the treatments will depend on many things,including the severity of the disease,the ability to maintain oral hygiene at home,and certain risk factors,such as the habit of smoking,can reduce the chances of success.Ask your dentist what may be the degree of success in its particular case.
